Islamic Art: Originated in Syria

The origin of the rich Islamic art is considered to be in Syria which is known for its traders and architecture. You can notice the Islamic art forms in each and every monument in Syria. The Islamic antique art prints and antique décor is defined as the rich and legendary mechanism of creativity. Islamic art is stated as an amalgam of numerous religions. The artists who created these art forms in the Muslim regions were from other cultures as well. It is thus stated that Islamic art is an amalgam of numerous cultures. Although the forms which were developed by all the artists were considered to be Islamic but the artists who developed those art forms were not Muslim.

In this region of the Islamic territory, calligraphy was the dominant art form from the 7th to 10th century. In this form the artists used to beautify the walls of mosques, palaces and homes. In this form the texts were decorated and embellished on walls. This practice is call calligraphy and was dominant in that era. In calligraphy versus from the holy books like Quran were beautified. In the 18th century two great techniques named basara and lusterware were discovered.

Glazed ceramics came to the picture in the nineteenth century. Stoneware ceramics, Lusterware poetry, Enameled Glass and tinopacified glazing were extremely popular in the 19th century. Only in Syria these forms were prevalent and actively used. Similar to other Islamic structures, structures in Syria also consisted of geometrical designs, floral prints and complex designs.  In the Islamic era artworks which defined luxury were on the top. Such artworks were magnificent relief cut, mosaic and stained glasses, caskets with fine ivories and intricate work on tiles. Metal work also peaked in this period of Islam.

Apart from the prevalence of Islamic art in Syria there are numerous examples of its prevalence in other countries as well like Taj mahal in India.

The oldest art form now commercialized: Aboriginal Art

The aboriginal art form is the oldest art of the Australian culture. This art has made a huge impact throughout the world. It’s known to all that this art form is among the oldest art forms on earth but now that this antique art prints and antique art décor is commercialized it looks as if it is the youngest art of the modern times. This aboriginal art of Australia began to appear in the early seventeen century. Before that the dominance of ancient art rock was observed.

The commercialization of this ancient aboriginal art form has been appreciated world wide because such artistic unifications are observed once in the lucky millenniums. Aboriginal art form has been magnificently unified with the present day art and the outcome has made a huge impact all over the world. In the ancient times the artists who were involved with the aboriginal art form used to create magnificent art forms but their talent was not noticed by the international market. Such remarkable art pieces are traded since the year 1930 but it is now that the international market has accepted and appreciated this form of art.

In the early days these aboriginal art forms were created on a piece of bark as the culture of canvases was not prevalent. Aboriginal form of art successfully found its place in Central America through the Papunya Tula painting movement. People like Bardon dedicated their lives in supporting this form of art. Today aboriginal form of art is not the only remarkable art form of Australia but it is the most appreciated and applauded art forms of the world. From the early 70’s this art form was commercialized and it is now that the world’s art fanatics adore and respect this fantastic form of art.
